My life before becoming a teacher was as a Concert Violinist. Many years later, and even after a stroke,  though my bow arm is impaired for life, I still enjoy playing. God's gifts to us are always perfect, even when life tries makes them more difficult to appreciate:)

Above: A few years ago,  and after having a stroke and other health related difficulties coupled with a bad economy,  I decided to make lemonade out of lemons. Instead of teaching violin lessons for added stability, I began to repair and sell antique violins. CNN took notice and invited me to appear on the T.J. Holmes Show. I figured why not? After all they were paying for the limo for myself and my family, so we made a day of it, and headed north to the CNN studios.  Great fun was had by all. I talked about how after the economic meltdown that I started selling violins. Today I fix and  sell violins more than I  play them, but that is fine. It lets me meet many interesting people worldwide.
